Olson Family Easter 2012

It was a good day on Easter this year for the kids and they all had fun searching for eggs. I think that there were only 1 or 2 that could not be found by the end of the day! Good food and good company!

Abby starts soccer in 2012.

Abby started soccer this year and seems to be enjoying it. The grandparents have been by a couple of times to watch her. She has enjoyed playing since alot of her friends are playing soccer and she gets to spend time with them. Here are some of the pictures Christie snapped during one of her games recently. Christie and I took a day trip over to Boise to watch the Lucky Peak Rooster tail. When i was a kid they would have the Lucky Peak Dam shooting out water all summer long it seemed. The Olson families first year bounty from our garden was not bad!

Its the end of our first full summer at the new house and we pulled up the garden to see what we had pulled from it all throughout the summer. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a bounty! Missing from this picture is all the beans, cucumbers, broccoli, 8 pumpkins , and cauliflower. Alex has her 11th birthday

Alex has her 11th birthday and invited a few friends over to the house to have pizza, cake and ice cream, and to play some soccer in the park nearby. They had a great time and all the kids burned tons of energy playing soccer and doing other things while Christie sat and visited with the parents. Was a great day for a get together!

First day of school for Alex and Abby 2011

It was the first day of school for Alex and Abby 2011. The girls were very excited to be going back to school at Desert Springs Elementary. Abby is heading into 3rd grade and Alex is going into 5th.
